OSM continent sceneries have been updated with latest OSM data dated Mar 2013. The sceneries are available in two versions: ‘osm only’ and ‘osm with autogen’ objects.

OSM data has grown in the last six months by 10 – 30 percent, so you will have more objects and more covered area in your sceneries – and now Antarctica is available (well, OSM data is not too much in that region 😉 )

European OSMs have a new extended red roofs facade set, rest of the world is converted with gray roofs facade set. Some large forests are missing (as before) as OSM2XP cannot handle multipolygons with inner/outer relations. There will be special forest sceneries available in hopefully few days to correct this.

End of February 2013 will be an update of OSM sceneries available, with new and more objects based on actual OSM data.

Actual OSM sceneries base on OSM data from geofabrik.de dated Sep 2012. Actual data – 5 months later – contains 10 – 20 percent more objects and corrected data.

If you update OSM data now you’ll see it in the next OSM scenery. Add your house, shopping center, school, whatever building you are missing and correct wrong data, forests, roads etc. on openstreetmap.org . I’ts easy and you help getting more and better OSM data. 🙂

After a short landing and break, we took of again – with less package on board but more speed to download.
