X-EUROPE 3.0 released

I’m glad to tell you that I’ve updated after 6 months work X-Europe to version 3.0. šŸ™‚ This is a major update with many many improvements using the latest OSM data. Performance should be better compared to the latest version 2.1.

  • newest OSM data Oct 2019
  • many new generated objects, thousands residential buildings and houses
  • localisation for the Alps region, has typical objects
  • FlyAgis Vegetation (HD trees and forests) included, adapted to ortho sceneries
  • forests are splitted at streets and railways
  • now 7 layers, refer to the manual
  • extra layer for 3D vfr objects (330 objects actually) and corrections
  • compatible to newest OpenSceneryX v4.2.0+ (thanks to Austin G.)

Three short remarks:

  1. You have to install or upgrade to the latest OpenSceneryX library
  2. if you are using ortho sceneries please change the library.txt in layer 5-scenery
  3. please remove FlyAgi Vegetation library if installed (this is inside)
And please read the Manual. šŸ˜‰

X-EUROPE 3.0 preview

This is a preview video of the Alps region of the next version X-Europe 3.0 for X-Plane 11, Ortho4XP sceneries used.

This demo flight is from Mollis Switzerland (LSMF) along Walensee, Rhine river, Bregenz to Altenrhein airport (LSZR) and shows the first regionalised package Alps, more regions hopefully to come.

Still searching for people to help with other regions!

It’s work in progress, please don’t ask about a date for publication! šŸ˜‰
